Happy New Year - Digi Choosday Challenge

Happy New Year Everyone.  I hope you had a lovely Christmas. I had a wonderful time spending time with all my children in the UK.  There was lots of fun and laughter throughout the week.
Drove back from the UK yesterday to Germany experiencing awful weather on the way, but made it safe and sound.  Today, I'm chilling and catching up on my Design Team Challenges I have this week.  So this is my Digi Choosday - Happy New Year challenge.  This is one of Emma Canning's December digi images available from www.polkadoodles.co.uk.  I printed her out and coloured her with my NEW Graph'it marker pens I received from my daughter Katie for Christmas! They are lush!
I then cut her out added a little glitter and matted her on to some backing papers I had in my crafty stash and added a sentiment using my ticket punch from Stampin Up. There is my card. Voila!

Christmas Birthday Wishes - Polkadoodle Challenge.

Hello Again,
It is Polkadoodles Challenge - Christmas Birthday Wishes - I chose this lovely and my favourite image from the Home for Christmas CD Rom available from www.polkadoodle.co.uk . I printed her out and then coloured her with my Graph'it markers. Adhered here to some lovely papers I had left over from other projects in my crafty stash and then coloured a sentiment "Warm Wishes" to match the colour scheme and there you have another cute card.

This will be my last post now until after Christmas as I am going back to the UK to see my family over Christmas.  Have a lovely Christmas everyone and see you soon xxxx

Ho Ho Ho - Digi Choosday Challenge

Good morning from Sunny Cold Germany!
So once again it is Digi Chooseday!! Time flies in this neck of the woods!  Today, for my card, I chose an image from one of the digi bundles from www.polkadoodle.co.uk called Christmas Joy.
I printed her out and cut a scalloped circle to matt her on and then adhered her to the backing paper from that bundle also. Matted that onto red cardstock. Added a sentiment from the Home for Christmas CD Rom and then die cut a bow! That is it folks! Love digi images for quick and easy cards.

Santa Baby

It's nearly Christmas!  So excited.  Leaving for the UK next Friday to stay with my daughters. Go shopping in Craft stores! Yay!  Anyway, still loads to do before I go.  Today, it's Creative Moments Challenge using Sassy Studio digis.  I love this image.  I coloured her with my Graph'it  and Promarkers added a little glitter and fur and lip gloss to this sassy lady.  I then cut her out and mounted her on to some red cardstock, added a ribbon, then onto some holly backing paper. I cut out a tag with "from Santa" on it. There she is!

Food Glorious Food - Digi Choosday Challenge

Doesn't time fly! Its Digi Choosday again!  Today our challenge is Food Glorious Food. So I picked this lovely digi sentiment and Gingerbread Man from Christmas Joy. Printed him out added some fur to his hat and icing to his feet. Matted and layered the sentiment, inked the edges and adhered it to Mr. Gingerbread Man and then onto a Scalloped circle.  I had some backing paper left in my crafty stash from the Home for Christmas CD Rom and matted that onto some red cardstock. That is it folks!

A Gift for You - Polkadoodles Challenge

Our challenge this week is to make a gift.  So I thought it would be nice to make a box with Thank you cards in it.  I already had a template for this card box, I used two pieces of A4 cardstock for the box, drew around the template and cut it out and put the box together.  I then chose some backing papers and an image from The Angelberry CD Rom.  I matted and layered the Rudolf paper on red cardstock and covered the front, back and sides.  I then made 6 cards, same design but with different backing papers. I then used my peel off "thank you's" and matted and layered the Rudolf image.  There it is! What a nice gift to give someone!

Christmas Cheer - Digi Choosday Challenge

So it's December! How this year has flown by.  It's Digi Choosday again and this week we had to make a card with a little Christmas Cheer.  I first chose this sentiment as I love it, it is from the Here Comes Christmas CD Rom, printed it out and framed it with a Spellbinder die. I then had this image from Emma Canning - Time for tea, I cut away the cup and placed him peeking over the sentiment. I then matted and layered it with backing paper from the Home for Christmas CD Rom on some red cardstock.  There it is, hope you like it. All the CD Roms are available from www.polkadoodles.co.uk.

Flatfriends Colour Challenge

Hi there, it's Flatfriends Challenge time! This month it is using the above colour combination.  At first I wasn't too sure, but I went through my crafty stash of cardstock and papers and found some that look quite good together.  The image I chose is one of Emma's first digi images and it is the first time I have used it.  I coloured here with my Graph'it marker pens and cut her out.  I then made a Union Jack background out of my bits and bobs scraps.  I added a sentiment and here she is. Cute eh?
