Polkadoodles Challenge - Anniversaries

Hello again, from a very wet and windy Germany!! Where is the Spring/Summer??? But I must say that  it is good for crafting on days like this.

I am a bit late with my Design Team Challenge this week, I really have no excuses!  So here it is!
I chose an image from Double Sprinkles of Kraft CD Rom available www.polkadoodles.co.uk
and created a sentiment saying "I Welly love you".  I added ribbon, a bow, die cut flowers, butterflies and border and buttons. Used backing papers from the CD and cardstock from my crafty stash!

Sherri Baldy Challenge - Mom's Day

Hi, this is one of my favourite digis from Sherry Baldy. I coloured this lovely image using Graph it Markers www.polkadoodles.co.uk  and added a little bit of glitter of course. I am in Kraft cardstock making mood at the moment, so I used a kraft card base, added some floral card stock and inked the edges usings Tim Holtz distressed inks. Cut out a scalloped circle from Spellbinders, matted the image on another piece of floral cardstock, die cut some snowdrops from Spellbinders, tied with string, added some vintage lace and a sentiment. There she is, pretty as a picture!

Flatfriends May Challenge - Punches

Hello from very rainy Germany! Here is my May challenge card for Flatfriendsblogspot.com. The theme is punches so I picked one of Emma Canning' d new designs, available from www.polkadoodle.co.uk and coloured her in with Graph it marker pens, added a little detail to the card on the image. Matted the image on pink card stock and used a Martha Stewart punch (around the page) to edge it. Then chose some papers from the Pen & Paper No.5 CD Rom from www.polkadoodles.co.uk  matted them on kraft cardstock added a bow and a die cut flower border. There you have it!

Flatfriends DT Challenge - April STITCHING - faux or real

Hi there folks from snowy Germany! I know it is Easter Sunday and it is snowing!!! thank goodness it isn't settling.

I made this card using one of Emma Cannings Images, now available on a CD Rom from www.polkadoodles.co.uk or you can buy the individual image.  I coloured her with my new Graph It Markers, which I love. I find them easier to blend and the colours are more vibrant.

I cut the image out using a Spellbinders die and to matt and layer the image. I faux stiched  around the edges using a fine tip marker and white gel pen.  I found a lovely piece of patchwork paper in my crafty stash and matt and layerd it on black and faux stitched around that also. Cut out another fancy die from Spellbinders and where the die left tiny holes I used my marker to go around the edge again to look like it was stiched. Used a sentiment from one of my Polkadoodle CD roms added a polka dot ribbon and it was finished. Hope you like it x

Under the Weather!

It is also time for Flatfriends Challenge. This month's challenge is "To die for". So I made this card using one of Emma Canning's images, I coloured her with promarkers and cut her out. I made an aperture in a piece of embossed Centura pearl white card using a window die from Tonic. I embossed a piece of acetate which made it look like pouring rain and adhered it to the window pane. I stamped and coloured the background of the window, using a Tonic Stamp and adhered to the aperture. Matted and layered the background on black cardstock. Printed a saying "Sorry you are feeling under the weather and cut it out using another Spellbinder die.
